Shipping Policy

Shipping and Delivery

At Katherine Gibson Art, we take the utmost care in ensuring your artwork arrives in gallery condition. Because our collection includes both one-of-a-kind originals and custom-made fine art prints, shipping methods and times vary by item type.

1. Original Oil Paintings

All original works are professionally hand-packed at my studio in Albany, Western Australia, using moisture-resistant wrap an heavy-duty corner protectors. 

  • Handling Time: Please allow 3-5 business days for professional archival wrapping and custom boxing.

  • Australia: Shipped via Carbon-Neutral Courier with full tracking, insurance, and signature required on delivery. Please allow 5-10 business days.

  • International: To ensure the safest and most affordable transit, international originals are shipped rolled in a heavy-duty tube. Any local framer can easily re-stretch the canvas upon arrival.

  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your painting is dispatched.

  • Insurance: Every original painting is fully insured for its total value during transit.

Damages: In the unlikely event of damage, please contact me within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and the artwork so I can lodge an insurance claim for you.

2. Fine Art Prints (Made-to-Order)

To ensure the highest quality and fastest delivery, our prints are fulfilled by our professional printing partner, Printify.

  • Production Time: Prints are usually created and dried within 2-5 business days.

  • Shipping Method: Standard or Express tracked shipping (depending on your selection at checkout).

  • Tracking: Tracking information will be sent to your email once the print has left the facility.​

Note: As a regional WA creator, these times are estimates provided by our couriers.

4. International Shipping

  • Originals: To ensure safety and cost-effectiveness, large international originals are shipped rolled in a  heavy-duty tube. They can be easily re-stretched by any local framer.

  • Custom & Duties: International customers are responsible for any local import duties or taxes incurred upon arrival in their country.
